2NE1 is a South Korean hip hop/ pop girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009. 2NE1 consists of four members : C, Mingi, Dara and Bom. The gropu's name 2NE1 stands for " New Evolutino of the 21st Century". Their debut single "Fire" was released on May 6, 2009.
The song called " I Don't Care" was released as the second single on July 1, 2009 with promotions starting in early July. An reggae version of "I Don't Care" was performed on Korean music show, signaling the end of promotions for the song. However, due to the remix's popularity, it was released to digital outlets on September 3, 2009 and became their next digital single.
2NE1 perfomed in the 6th Asia Song Festival in September 2009, where they received the 2009's Asian Newcomer's Award.
Their comeback album,To AnyoneGO, was marked by a strong shift into electronic music. "Go Away", the most successful promotional single from the album, is classified as dance However, songs like "It Hurts" are R&B, a style that characterized their first EP. The three title tracks, "Clap Your Hands " "Go Away," and "Can't Nobody" were noted for their lasting impressions, as they topped music charts weeks after release.
Thematically, 2NE1's music expresses the feelings of independence and female empowerment. Songs like "Go Away" and "I Don't Care" reflect this theme of their music.

Namdaemun Market is popular among both local residents and visitors for its bargains in anything-from clothes to foodstuffs. Its crowded streets are lined with tiny shops that sell virtually everything imaginable.
Insa-dong is a narrow street lined with antique stores, art galleries and secondhand bookstores. Dubbed "Mary's Alley" by foreign residents of Seoul, Insa-dong is the most reliable place in the city to purchase antiques and reproductions, especially on the different types of Choson Dynasty chests. There are also bargains on calligraphy, paintings, and a wide variety of implements and articles from Korea's past. Traditional teahouses and art galleries are also concentrated in this area.
